La Stanza dello Scirocco comes to life in the abstract, still atmosphere of a magical place: the room where people were forced to stay to shelter from the mugginess, in the big, old country houses in Sicily, waiting for the "sirocco" to subside. A room without windows, where children passed the hours building fragile castles of cards, their thoughts drifting to the wind beyond, where the world’s things were set in disarray. The result is a collection of objects with irregular geometries, composed of small splinters of different sizes, joined together by points in unstable equilibrium.

La Stanza dello Scirocco” is a range of items suitable for different rooms, such as the kitchen and the living room born out of the abstract and motionless atmosphere of a magic place: the room in large Sicilian country homes where one is forced to seek shelter from the sultriness while waiting for the scirocco to die down. The upshot is a collection of geometrically irregular items made up of small splinters of various sizes, interlaced in an unstable balance.
