Miracolo!
Massimo Giacon and Marcello Jori present Miracolo!, a nativity set where the figures have a square form that recalls visual gaming. Inserted in a hut that also has square lines, the geometric figures are creating a composition between traditional and avant-guarde. The set is comprised of the hut and the five traditional figures: Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, ox and donkey. The scene can be competed with the guiding star, Miracolata, offered separately: a detail that enriches the set and makes it more intense.

Marcello Jori
Marcello Jori was born in 1951. He currently lives and works in Bologna. Having obtained his degree from DAMS (Drama, Art and Music Studies, Bologna), in 1977 Jori embarked on his career as an artist, exhibiting in national and foreign galleries and museums. In 1979, Jori painted himself on top of a ladder painting the fall of the angel, which marked a turning point in his artistic career. During this phase painting became central to his creative evolution. These were the years of the Scritture (Inscriptions), fluctuating words which were then caged in multicoloured Teatrini (Theatres), Cristalli (Crystals) and Gioie (Jewels) series, enchanted and kaleidoscopic geometric patterns.
