Juicy Salif

Citrus-squeezer

Philippe Starck

In the words of Alberto Alessi, "a true work of design must know how to move, communicate feelings, evoke memories, surprise, transgress...in short, it has to be poetic." Juicy Salif was born from a spontaneous proposal by Philippe Starck, unexpected and typologically a far cry from the steel tray that was initially commissioned from the French designer. Alessi had the insight to recognize its immense potential, bringing to fruition a juicer that remains unsurpassed in its ability to generate discussion around its nature and meaning.
